Engine Room Detailing
Spot problems before they become breakdowns
Degreasing, brightening, and organizing for safety and maintenance. A clean engine room reveals leaks, corrosion, and wear.
A clean engine room isn't just about appearance—it's about reliability, safety, and protecting your investment.
When oil, fuel residue, and grime coat every surface, small leaks become invisible until they're catastrophic. Routine maintenance takes longer. Fire risk increases. And when you need service, mechanics charge premium rates to work in dirty conditions.

How long does engine room detailing take?
Most single-engine boats take 4-6 hours. Twin-engine boats typically require 6-10 hours. Larger or heavily soiled spaces may take multiple days. We provide time estimates during the initial assessment.
Can you detail the engine room while the boat is in the water?
Yes! Most engine room detailing is done with the boat in the water at your slip or mooring. We contain all runoff and work within marina environmental regulations.
What if you find a leak or problem?
We'll photograph it, note the location, and notify you immediately. While we don't perform mechanical repairs, we can coordinate with your mechanic and often identify issues before they become emergencies.
How often should I have my engine room detailed?
For most pleasure yachts, annual detailing is sufficient. Commercial boats or those with high engine hours benefit from bi-annual or quarterly service. We'll recommend a schedule based on your usage and current condition.
